Stonehouse (formerly Winery) situated directly on the
Canal du Midi, a "World Heritage Site" in a little wine village near Narbonne. Restored in 2003 to a house with highest comfort with panoramic views of the canal and the wineyards of the Languedoc as fas as the Pyrenees. To the house belongs a large garage, a sunny inside-courtyard, a small garden direct at the bank of the canal with place for mooring a boat and a rear garden with terrace. There is a good infrastructure with shops nearby, restaurants, a nice boat-promenade and the "Chateau de Ventenac", known for its famous wine. The nearest bigger town is Narbonne (12 km) with the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea and Lezignan with the biggest market in the region.Carcassonne is about 30 km far.
